Tctrsp.com (Honest Review): Is Tctrsp A Scam, Or Is It A Legitimate Site?

Tctrsp.com is a site that came to us through our contact form, asking if we thought it was a scam. We replied that we thought it was, and decided to publish a full report on why we thought it was just that.

Finding if something is a scam doesn’t take any extraordinary skills, nor fancy programs that cost thousands of dollars. In fact, it really doesn’t require much, just a curious mind and a person that checks everything they find on a website.

Hopefully, by the end of this article, you’ll have come away with a few ideas on how to spot a scam website quickly, as well as keep yourself from purchasing from a fraudulent website in the future!

Tctrsp.com’s Main Page And Website

Tctrsp.com's main pageWhen going to Tctrsp.com, one thing should become immediately clear. Or at least, it was clear to us.

If you take a look at the top left corner, you’ll notice that they have the Nike logo there. Now, for those of you who don’t know, that logo is copyright material of Nike. What that means is that only Nike should be using that, and if someone else is using it, then you probably don’t want to be using their site.

Logos are a great way to see if a site is legit or not, since many scammers will pull from popular brands, like Nike, and try to impersonate the store, so that users will buy from them (and thus get scammed).

But that is not all that is found on the front page.

Before we actually came to this site, we checked some free, public records on the site, just to see when it was registered and when it was last updated. Turns out that this specific domain was registered just over a month ago, making it an extremely young site.

Whois InformationNow, the interesting thing is that on their site, they have a copyright notice of 2017:

Copyright Notice Of 2017We don’t know why this is. But our best guess is that they are either trying to make it so that their site is older than it really is, or they’ve been doing this scam for a while now (and just copying the existing scam to a new site), and haven’t updated their copyright notice.

Either way, it definitely makes the site look less legit looking. Especially when their website is newer than their copyright notice by two years.

Privacy Policies And Contact Emails

We continued searching, and found an interesting clause in their Privacy Policy, stating that our information could be given to any company that bought Tctrsp.com. Now, this is all pretty standard stuff, but it was just sort of interesting to us, none-the-less.Privacy Policy Clause Because of this interesting clause, we decided to email them, and ask some questions about certain things on the site. They claimed that their email address was service@tctrsp.com (or so it was at the bottom of the Privacy Policy).
Strangely enough, after we emailed them, we received the following email from our email service provider:

No Email AvailiableWhat does the above all mean?

Basically, when we emailed Tctrsp.com, our email service provider, Protonmail, sent us an email, telling us that there wasn’t an email address by that name.

In other words, Tctrsp.com lied about what their email address was, and gave us a bogus email. We actually had expected this, since this is a rather common occurrence with scammers and having email addresses that seem to bounce. They do this so that it is harder to track them down or get a hold of them.

But we also knew this because of the many email addresses that were connected with their site.

Four Separate Emails Connected To Tctrsp

We’ve already talked about one – service@tctrsp.com. But there are three others that were in some way connected with this site.

The second one is easily found within their contact information. It is listed with their (supposed) phone number and business address.

Contact Email Address #2While we won’t go into much detail about this email, it does deserve a mention that if you do a quick search for this email address, you’ll find it connected with another untrustworthy website.

But onto the third email address.

When we registered an account on their website, tctrsp.com was kind enough to send us an email, stating that they were just welcoming us to the store, and telling us a few other things. But when we looked at who had sent the email, we noticed that it was an email address that we had never seen before:

the third email addressSo, someone called Glya Jesse is also connected with this site? While there was nothing out there about this email address, it was rather strange to find that they used a completely different email address to sent their emails out with.

But the final email address, the fourth one, is what really helped prove to us that this site wasn’t worth using.

When we reviewed this site back awhile ago, we found a different email address in the contact information. And it looks like in between time, the owner of Tctrsp.com changed it. And, even more unfortunate, we didn’t take a screenshot of it as proof.

But, thankfully our good ole’ friend Google kept it in their records. When we searched up Tctrsp.com’s phone number, the email address popped up with it:

The fourth email addressIf you search around for that domain name, you’ll find quite a bit of information as to what they’ve been doing, and how unethical they operate. If you do a search specifically for that email address, you’ll find that it is connected with another fraudulent website, one that was reported on just a week or so ago:

Email address linked to fraudulent websiteTctrsp.com Is A Scam!

They’re using copyrighted logos and material, as well as using four different email addresses to run their site. And two of those email addresses can be linked to untrustworthy/fraudulent websites!

But, that isn’t all that they dishonestly tell you. Remember when we looked at their contact information, and into their second email address associated with them? Well, we never really did look into where they claim to be located, did we?

Scammers will often put a fake address on their website to make them appear more authentic. But they’re dealing with people who double-check everything. And checking their address reveals that someone else has claimed it as theirs.

Someone Else Lives At Scammer's AddressGood ole’ Google comes to the rescue again, and shows us that Sainsbury’s Local actually owns the address that Tctrsp.com claims to be at.
So, all the above to say, Tctrsp.com appears to be lying about pretty much all that they claim to be. And if they’re lying about all that, could they be lying about their products, how they keep your billing information safe, and everything else related to purchases?

    • Yes it was, Obum. Sorry about not giving you any of the credit. Thanks a bunch for letting us know about this site! We wouldn’t be able to find the new scam sites if it wasn’t for people like you.
