Is nichecan.com a scam? Absolutely, likconnect.shop is a scam.
And with that essential piece of information established.
It’s crucial to dive deeper into the abyss of online scams, a concerning phenomenon that’s been on a steady rise.
The digital world is brimming with deceitful websites that masquerade as genuine e-commerce platforms.
Nichecan.com is one such platform, alleging to provide an array of products, from beddings & pillows, Christmas decors, and chairs, to kitchenware.
Despite the facade of legitimacy, there are often sinister undertones that go unnoticed by the average shopper.
With the convenience and appeal of online shopping soaring, scam websites have mushroomed, capitalizing on unsuspecting customers seeking attractive deals.
And nichecan.com is no different.
It portrays itself as a reliable e-commerce platform, offering a diverse collection of household essentials.
However, this façade masks a myriad of risks that potential buyers must be aware of before entering their credit card details.
Beware, for all that glitters is not gold.
5 Alarming Reasons that Make Nichecan.com a Scam
Caution is the key when navigating the online shopping seas, and nichecan.com is a ship best avoided.
Though it may seem like a haven for household essentials, there are glaring signs that expose its true nature.
Let’s unravel the indicators that unmistakably tag nichecan.com as a scam website.
1. False Affiliation with Wilko And Plagiarized About Us page content
Nichecan.com asserts that they are affiliated with Wilko, a trusted brand for all your home needs.
This claim is similar to the ones made by wilkoclosing.com, a scam website that I just recently investigated.
And wilukouk.com, another fraudulent website that I just recently exposed.
Additionally, a closer examination also reveals that the About Us page content of nichecan.com is also word-for-word identical to wilkoclosing.com and wilukouk.com.Â
In the screenshot above, you can see that the content is exactly the same, which raises suspicion about the legitimacy of nichecan.com.
It is highly unlikely that a reputable brand like Wilko would be associated with multiple websites that have identical content.
This seems like a deliberate attempt by nichecan.com to deceive customers by leveraging the trust and reputation of a well-known brand.
2. Recently Registered Domain
Another red flag I noticed is that the domain nichecan.com was just registered on December 2, 2022.
This is a common trait among scam websites as they tend to have newly registered domains.
Scammers often create new websites, scam people for a short period, and then shut them down before moving on to the next one.
A legitimate and established business would typically have a domain that has been registered for a longer period.
Therefore, the recent registration of nichecan.com’s domain is a strong indicator that this website is not trustworthy.
3. Copied Product Images
Nichecan.com has also copied product images from other legitimate sites.
For example, their product with the name “The dog bed for humans-grey” has the same product image as one listed on eBay.
In the screenshot above, it is evident that the image used on nichecan.com is identical to the one on eBay.
This is a clear indication that nichecan.com does not have original content and is likely fraudulent.
4. Unrealistic Prices and DiscountsÂ
What could be more tempting than huge discounts? But beware!
Because this website offers crazy discounts on some of their products, sometimes as high as 98% and 94%.Â
For instance, “The dog bed for humans-grey” is listed for only £ 9.98, down from the original price of £ 66.60 after a whopping 85% discount.Â
However, when compared to the same product on eBay, which is priced at $143.00 or £ 113.51 when converted to GBP.
The discount on nichecan.com seems too good to be true.
These unrealistic discounts are a common tactic used by scam websites to lure customers into making a purchase.
5. Unsafe Payment Method
Nichecan.com only allows credit cards as the mode of payment and does not offer any other payment methods like PayPal.
Which by the way has a two-way verification security method, making the transaction a little bit safer.
This is a major concern as it increases the risk of credit card fraud.
Legitimate websites usually offer multiple payment options to ensure the safety and convenience of their customers.
The lack of secure payment options on nichecan.com is a clear indication that this website cannot be trusted.
In conclusion, there are several red flags that clearly indicate that nichecan.com is a scam.
From falsely claiming affiliation with a trusted brand, having a recently registered domain, and only providing unsafe payment methods – the evidence is overwhelming.
It is important to be cautious and conduct thorough research before making any purchases online.
Always check the legitimacy of the website, read customer reviews, and verify the payment options available.
Always keep in mind that if something appears overly promising, it’s likely not as wonderful as it appears.Â
