Is A Scam? (Beware Of Fake On-Running Store!)

Is a scam? is a fraudulent website that poses as an online store for the popular On-running shoes, this website raises more questions than it answers.

In the digital shopping world, appearances can be deceiving, and is a prime example.

Let’s peel back the layers and see what’s really going on.

Troubling Signs That Shows is a scam

Let’s dive into the murky waters of and explore why this site is setting off alarm bells.

From questionable branding to suspicious contact details, there’s a lot to unpack here.

Dubious Brand Representation

But don’t be fooled. The evidence suggests a different story.

On-running is a reputable brand, known for its quality and innovation in running shoes. The misuse of their branding by is a classic tactic used by fraudulent sites to gain trust.

A legitimate partnership with a brand like On-running would typically involve verifiable links or official endorsements, none of which are present here.

This misrepresentation is not just unethical; it’s a deliberate attempt to deceive consumers who trust the On-running name.

Freshly Created Domain

In the online world, trust is built over time, and its recent registration is a classic red flag.

Legitimate businesses usually have a history and an established online presence.

The lack of history here suggests that might be a fly-by-night operation, common among scammers who set up shop quickly and disappear just as fast.

Lack of Transparent Contact Information

A screenshot that shows doesn't provide any contact detail raises suspicions right off the bat by not providing any contact details such as a phone number or an email address on their website.

This is a basic feature you’d expect from any legitimate online retailer. However, the plot thickens after subscribing to their website.

The welcome email I received originated from “” and also mentioned “” for customer support.

A screenshot that shows also use the same email address

On further investigation, I discovered that the email address “” is also used by the scam site which I recently exposed. This connection alone is a huge red flag.

Additionally, there’s a concerning lack of information online about “”, except for the fact that it uses the domain “” as its host, which, alarmingly, is already shut down.

The absence of straightforward contact information, coupled with the use of dubious email addresses linked to known scam operations, paints a worrying picture. does not provide the level of transparency and reliability that you would expect from a trustworthy online store.

Unreal Deals

Every product on is on sale, with discounts ranging from 69% to 70%.

While discounts are great, these numbers are just too good to be true and are classic bait tactics.

Legitimate retailers often offer discounts, but they are usually within a reasonable range.

Discounts as high as 70% across all products are unsustainable for any genuine business and are often used by scam sites to lure in unsuspecting customers.

Misleading Payment Methods

The site displays various payment methods, including PayPal and credit cards.

A screenshot that shows is only allowing credit cards as mode of payment

However, after I tried to check out a product, I discovered that they only accept credit cards as a mode of payment.

This discrepancy is a major red flag and puts your financial information at risk. Legitimate sites are transparent about their payment methods and do not mislead customers.

The restriction to credit card payments also removes the security layer that services like PayPal provide, making it easier for scammers to misuse your financial information.

The Final Verdict

Is a scam? Without a doubt, it is. From its misleading brand representation to its lack of transparent contact information, this site is a minefield of red flags.

My advice? Well, I urge you to steer clear of and always do your due diligence before making any online purchases.

Stay informed, stay vigilant, and keep your online shopping experiences scam-free.
