Is startswimca.com A Scam? (Shoppers, Beware Of This Trap!)

Is startswimca.com a scam? Without a doubt, it is a scam, and I’ve got the evidence to prove it.

This so-called “e-commerce platform” claims to offer lights and home decorations.

But let me tell you, the only thing they’re lighting up is a path to your wallet.

Stick with me as I unravel the murky details of startswimca.com.

5 Convincing Reasons That Make startswimca.com a Scam

Online shopping has its perks, but it also comes with its fair share of risks.

Scam websites are rampant, and startswimca.com is no exception.

In this section, I will uncover the reasons that raise suspicions about the legitimacy of this website.

1. The Domain Was Registered Just Last Month

Longevity is the name of the game in e-commerce. A site that’s been around for years? Probably legit.

But startswimca.com? Registered just last month, specifically last July 21, 2023. That’s a red flag so big you could see it from space.

Scam sites often pop up overnight and disappear just as quickly, leaving a trail of frustrated customers in their wake.

This recent registration is a classic sign of a fly-by-night operation that can’t be trusted.

2. The Company Behind startswimca.com also owns countless fraudulent websites

Ever heard of Novva Limited? No? Well, scamwatchers.com has, and they’re not fans.

This company is the dark web genius behind startswimca.com and a host of other scam sites.

If that doesn’t scream “run,” I don’t know what does.

Novva Limited has a long history of creating and managing fraudulent websites.

It’s their M.O., and they’re darn good at it.

Associating with a company like this is akin to swimming with sharks – not recommended.

3. Unreachable Email Address

Every legitimate business is reachable, right? Well, not in the case of startswimca.com.

I tried to search their email address customerservices@startswimca.com in email-checker.net and they couldn’t get a response.

However, I’ve sent them an email myself, and if they ever decide to respond, I’ll update this article.

But don’t hold your breath. A non-responsive customer service is a huge red flag and a clear sign of a lack of professionalism and legitimacy.

4. About Us Page Content Is Identical To What The Websites Under Uniqueness Scam Network Use

Originality is dead, at least on startswimca.com.

Their ‘About Us’ page is a carbon copy of content from other scam sites under the Uniqueness Scam Network.

It’s like they’re not even trying to be subtle.

The Uniqueness Scam Network according to fakewebsitebuster.com is notorious for creating fake online stores that scam unsuspecting customers.

By using the same content, startswimca.com is essentially admitting to being part of this nefarious network.

5. Copied Product Images

Now, if you’re running a legit online store, you’d obviously use original images of the products you’re selling, right? Well, startswimca.com didn’t get that memo.

Case in point: the LED Motion Sensor Cabinet Light listed on their site.

Spoiler alert: It’s a carbon copy from another dodgy site, luminaline.com.

Yep, they didn’t even bother to change the image.

It’s this kind of lazy, unethical, and downright illegal behavior that shows a complete lack of respect for intellectual property rights.

And guess what? It’s a classic move straight out of the scammer’s playbook.

In the wild west of online shopping, startswimca.com is the outlaw you don’t want to cross paths with.

From its shady domain registration to its ghostly customer service, this site is a no-go.

I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy.

Do your homework, trust your gut, and remember: if it looks too good to be true, it probably is.
