Is trekkingrealm.com A Scam? (Outdoor Enthusiast, Watch Out!)

Is trekkingrealm.com a scam? After diving deep into my research, I would not recommend buying in this online store.

In the vast world of e-commerce, trekkingrealm.com stands out, claiming to offer a variety of outdoor gear.

From mountain bikes to surfboards, they seem to have it all.

They present themselves as the go-to platform for all your outdoor adventure needs.

However, as with many things online, it’s essential to look beneath the surface.

The digital age, while offering countless conveniences, also brings with it the shadow of deceitful sites.

And trekkingrealm.com, despite its appealing facade, raises several red flags.

Reasons why I wouldn’t recommend purchasing in trekkingrealm.com

Navigating the online world requires a discerning eye.

While many sites offer genuine products and services, others, like trekkingrealm.com, have questionable practices that can’t be ignored.

Discrepancy in Establishment Date

Trekkingrealm.com proudly mentions its beginning in early 2018 on its About Us page.

Yet, a detailed search of its domain on whois.com paints a different picture.

The domain’s registration date is June 27, 2022.

These inconsistencies for me are more than just oversight; they hint at potential deception.

Websites that misrepresent their establishment dates often do so to gain unwarranted credibility.

It’s a tactic that I have observed in numerous scam sites, and it’s a significant red flag.

Suspicious Business Address

Every legitimate e-commerce platform should have a transparent and verifiable business address.

And trekkingrealm.com also did that.

They provide an address specifically”S. Leadership International, 2325 COLCHESTER DR SE, #361, MANCHESTER, WA 98353” on their contact information page.

However, after searching this address on Google Maps, a surprising revelation comes to light.

The address is linked to the United States Post Office in Manchester, Washington.

This is not just a minor discrepancy; it’s a glaring inconsistency.

Why would an online store selling outdoor gear be associated with a post office?

That apparently raises more questions than answers.

Copied Product Images

Original content is the backbone of genuine businesses.

However, after searching for the product Leafy Two Piece Ghillie Suit on Google, I found a search result that didn’t surprise me anymore.

The product image is a direct lift from gearjunkie.com. A legitimate outdoor gear online store.

These kinds of practices not only question their authenticity but also their commitment to genuine business practices.

In the digital age, where content is king, using copied images is not just unethical but also a sign of potential deceit.

Customers deserve transparency and originality, and trekkingrealm.com’s actions are a breach of that trust.

Questionable Discount

Everyone loves a bargain, but there’s a fine line between a genuine discount and a bait tactic.

The Leafy Two Piece Ghillie Suit (Yes, the very same product), originally priced at $80.00, is now available for just $29.99.

Such drastic price reductions, while tempting, often hide ulterior motives.

It’s a classic tactic used by many malicious sites to lure in unsuspecting customers.

While discounts are common in e-commerce, it’s essential to question the authenticity of such massive price slashes.

In the vast and intricate landscape of e-commerce, it’s always a challenge to discern the genuine from the deceptive.

Trekkingrealm.com, with its myriad of inconsistencies and questionable practices, serves as a stark reminder of the pitfalls that lurk in the shadows.

And from the evidence and the discrepancies that I’ve discovered, that’s why I would not personally recommend purchasing something from trekkingrealm.com.

Remember that opting for caution is always wiser than regret.

Keep yourself updated, remain watchful, and consistently give importance to your online security.
